AnotherTuber came about after I had searched countless websites and many different forums for the piece of software that would help me download a video file from YouTube. Many of the applications I had tried did do what they said they would do, but 90% of them also had one flaw, they either crashed when attempting to download or just hung and didnt do anything - were they actually downloading the file, who knows.

With this in mind I also had the problem of downloading the file then trying to convert the file to something else, yet again, most of the applications I had tried failed. If I could get all the applications together, strip them all down and just have one piece of software, then that would make my day.

I would like to introduce to you AnotherTuber.

AnotherTuber derived from the name of many other YouTube applications and just another application that will actually do the job.

Points Of Interest

Easily enter the youtube url then press download.

Application checks the site running a small download, once url is found, download begins.

You can watch the process of the download in the window that will appear.

Many different extensions are available for conversion, I have personally researched the favorites among people I have chatted to over forums of what extensions they would like.

The current list of available files was composed gathering data from reliable sources on the internet from websites catered for user in the above areas e.g. Zune, PSP, iPOD etc. More extensions will become available soon.

AnotherTuber.exe - Main application

Update.exe - Our own update utility to check for new updates, apon running this another file will appear in the install directory called atuber.dll, this file lets the update file know if a new update is needed.

xtube.zip - This utility contains all the data too allow the AnotherTuber.exe to process the conversion, without this file there is no conversion.
